Roma have collected 12 points and won at least four of their first five Serie A matches in a season for the first time since 2021/22 (12 points and four wins also on that occasion, with José Mourinho on the bench).

For the sixth time in their history, Roma have kept four clean sheets in the first five matches of a Serie A season; the Giallorossi have never done better in the competition, with this record last achieved in 2014/15 (when Rudi Garcia was the coach).

Artem Dovbyk have scored a goal in Serie A for the first time since last May 4th (against Fiorentina, by head and at home also in that case); the striker has now scored two goals against Hellas Verona in the competition, against no other team he scored more (two also against Genoa and Udinese).

In the last five league matches between Roma and Hellas Verona, the home team has always won (three Giallorossi wins and two Gialloblu), including the 1-0 victory for the Roman side in the most recent match, last April 19th at the Olimpico with a goal from Shomurodov.

Roma are unbeaten in their last 28 home matches against Hellas Verona in Serie A (W22 D6). Their last such defeat (of their two overall away wins against the Giallorossi in the competition), dates back to January 28, 1973 (1-0 with a goal from Emiliano Mascetti). Only against Bari (30 between 1932 and 2010) and Atalanta (30 between 1950 and 1993) have Roma ever been on a longer unbeaten home run in the top-flight.

Roma have conceded the fewest goals so far in 2025/26 in the Big Five European leagues: just one in four matches; only three times in their Serie A history have the Giallorossi conceded one goal or fewer in their first five games of a season (once in 2014/15, 2013/14, and 1991/92).

Roma have won 75% of their league matches in 2025 (18 out of 24), a record for the Giallorossi in a single calendar year in their Serie A history.

Hellas Verona have drawn three of their first four Serie A games this season for the fourth time, following 2015/16, 1988/89, and 1970/71. The Scaligeri have never recorded four draws in their first five games of a season in their top-flight history.
