Auxerre vs Marseille

Winners at the Velodrome on November 8 (3-1), Auxerre could win home and away against Marseille in the same Ligue 1 season for the second time in their history, after 1987-88.

Auxerre have picked up 15 more points at home than away this season in Ligue 1 (20 points at home, 5 away), the joint-biggest difference along with Rennes. Meanwhile, Marseille are the team with the largest such differential away from home (+8 points - 19 at home, 27 away).

Auxerre have not won any of their last ten Ligue 1 games (D6 L4), and haven’t had a longer run without a victory in the top-flight since December 2011-March 2012 (12).

Marseille have scored 50 goals this season in Ligue 1, their highest tally after 22 games in a top-flight campaign since 1970-71 (also 50). OM are the fourth club to reach this mark at this stage in the 21st century, after Paris SG (9 times), Monaco (2 times) and Lyon (1 time, in 2017-18).

Auxerre have not lost any of their last nine home games in Ligue 1, but remain on a run of five draws, after winning their previous four. AJA could equal their longest run of home draws in the top-flight (6 in April-September 2010), with the last team to have such a run being Troyes in September-December 2022 (6).
