FC Bayern München have beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 42 times at home in the Bundesliga. In league history, no other club has ever recorded as many home wins against one opponent. The 3-3 draw in Frankfurt earlier this season saw Bayern drop points from a winning position for the only time in the league in 2024/25.
With 55 points from 22 games, this is FC Bayern’s best Bundesliga season in seven years (56 points in 2017/18). The Bavarians have only dropped two points at home so far in 2024/25 (1-1 against Leverkusen on MD5), the best return of any team across Europe’s top five leagues.
FC Bayern have won nine consecutive Bundesliga home games for the first time since 2020. The Bavarians have scored at least three goals in each of these nine matches – in league history, only Bayern themselves have ever managed a longer scoring run of this kind (11 home games in a row in 1993).
With 42 points from 22 games, this is Eintracht Frankfurt’s joint-best Bundesliga season, having only collected as many points at this stage in 2020/21 (since 3 points per win was introduced). The Eagles are also enjoying a seven-game unbeaten run in the league for the first time under Dino Toppmöller (W4, D3).
For the first time since detailed data collection began in 2004/05, FC Bayern only recorded two shots in a Bundesliga game last time out in Leverkusen. Despite that, FCB have scored the most goals (65), have the highest xG (54.4) and have created the most big chances (107) in the Bundesliga this season – Eintracht Frankfurt rank second in all three regards (49 goals, same as Leverkusen – 44.0 xG, 72 big chances).
