Monaco have won just three of their 15 major European games against Italian teams (D3 L9), with this their first such meeting since the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League semi-final vs Juventus, where they lost both legs.
Bologna are unbeaten in all 28 of their home matches in major European competitions (W16 D12), with only Ipswich Town playing more home games without losing in Europe in history (30).
Only three teams have scored more goals in the UEFA Champions League this season than Monaco (9). It’s their joint most goals after three games in a season, along with 1997-98.
