Brentford vs Fulham

Fulham have won five London derby matches in the Premier League this season (v Brentford x2, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, and Tottenham); their most in a single campaign in the competition. 

This was the first time that Fulham had opened the scoring, trailed in the match, and then come back to win in the Premier League (today being the 57th time they had scored first and trailed).

Only Southampton (45) and Ipswich (41) have conceded more goals in Premier League home games than Brentford (35) this season, with this being the joint-most the Bees have conceded on home soil in a single top-flight campaign (also 35 in 1946-47).

Brentford have won five of their last seven home league games against Fulham, with the exceptions being a 2-0 loss in November 2016 and a 0-0 draw last season.

Following their 2-1 win in the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage, Fulham are looking to complete their first league double over Brentford since 1947-48 in the second tier.

Brentford have alternated between victory (3) and defeat (3) in their final home league game in each of the last six seasons, losing 4-2 against Newcastle United last term.

Fulham beat Luton 4-2 last season, but haven’t won their final away league game in consecutive campaigns since 2007-08/2008-09 (vs Portsmouth and Newcastle).

Brentford have won each of their last four Premier League games. They last won more consecutive league games in the same campaign between March and July 2020 (8), while only once have they won five in a row in the top-flight (February/March 1939).
