Cagliari vs Fiorentina

Fiorentina have won four consecutive Serie A matches against Cagliari for the first time in their history.

The one scored by Roberto Piccoli in the 7th minute is the first goal conceded by Fiorentina in the first 15 minutes of play in this Serie A; in general, the Cagliari striker's goal is the fastest conceded by the Viola in the tournament since 10 December 2023 (Romelu Lukaku's goal in the 5th minute in Roma v Fiorentina).

After his goal against Juventus on 16 March, Robin Gosens has scored at least one goal in two consecutive Serie A appearances for the first time since February-March 2021 (three in a row with Atalanta in that case).

Cagliari won their last match played at Unipol Domus against Monza without conceding goal (3-0); the Rossoblù could win consecutive home games for the first time in Serie A since October-November 2023 and two home wins in a row without conceding goal for the first time in the top-flight since April 2017.

Fiorentina haven’t conceded a goal in four of their last six league games, after they kept only one clean sheet in their previous 12 Serie A matches; in addition, the Viola could draw three games in a row for the second time under Raffaele Palladino in Serie A, after the first three matches of the current league season.
