Crystal Palace avoided defeat from 2+ goals behind for the 10th time in Premier League history (W2 D8) – three of those have been 2-2 home draws with Leicester (also April 2017 and October 2021).

Leicester have now failed to win any of their opening four Premier League games in their last two seasons in the competition (also 2022-23). It’s the first time they’ve done so in consecutive top-flight campaigns since 1983-84/1984-85.

Leicester City have only opened the scoring in two of their last 24 Premier League games, conceding first in all three so far this season. Only in 1994-95 and 2001-02 have the Foxes conceded the first goal in each of their first four games in a Premier League season, being relegated in both of those campaigns.

Crystal Palace have conceded first in each of their three Premier League games so far this season (D1 L2), already one more than in their 13 such games under Oliver Glasner last term. The Eagles are yet to win a Premier League game under the Austrian in which they’ve trailed (D2 L5).
