Following their 2-2 draw against Manchester United in February, Everton have failed to win consecutive Premier League home games in which they led by two or more goals for the very first time in the competition.

Ipswich overturned a two-goal deficit to gain a result in a Premier League game for the first time since October 2001 against Southampton (3-3).

Everton played their 300th and final Premier League game at Goodison Park in the 3pm Saturday slot, the most such matches at a specific stadium in the competition.

Everton won the reverse fixture against Ipswich 2-0, only previously achieving the Premier League double over the Tractor Boys in 1994-95.

Ipswich have won their last two away league games against Everton, beating them 3-0 in September 2000 and 2-1 in February 2002.

Everton have won just one of their last nine Premier League games (D5 L3), having won four of their five before this (D1). The Toffees have lost their last two, last losing three in a row under David Moyes in October 2011.

Ipswich have lost 4-0 against Arsenal and 3-0 against Newcastle in their last two Premier League matches. They last conceded 3+ in three consecutive games in March 1995 – 0-9 v Man Utd, 0-3 v Spurs, 0-3 v Norwich.

Only Leicester (16) have failed to score in more different Premier League games than Everton (15) this season. The Toffees last drew a blank in more different matches back in 1998-99 (17).
