This is just the second FA Cup meeting between Exeter and Oxford, with the U’s winning a second round tie 4-1 in November 2022 previously.

Exeter have won just one of their last 14 meetings with Oxford in all competitions (D5 L8), winning 1-0 away in League One in January 2023.

Oxford United have been eliminated from the FA Cup at the third round stage in both of the last two seasons, losing these games by an aggregate score of 9-2.
