FCSB vs Olympiakos Piraeus

This will be FCSB’s first meeting with Olympiakos – their only previous home game against Greek opposition was a 2-2 draw with Panathinaikos in qualifying for the 1998-99 UEFA Champions League.

Olympiakos have lost all three of their European away games against Romanian sides, though this is their first such match since a 1-0 loss at Universitatea Craiova in the 1984-85 UEFA Cup.

FCSB have won 13 of their last 20 home UEFA Europa League matches (D3 L4), winning both home games this season by an aggregate score of 6-1.

Olympiakos have won four of their last six away major European matches (L2), as many as in their previous 28 such away games combined (W4 D3 L21).
