Getafe vs Girona

After failing to win any of their first three games against Girona in LaLiga (D2 L1), Getafe have alternated between a win and a defeat in their last five against the Catalans in the competition (W3 L2).

Getafe have lost just one of their six home games in all competitions against Girona (W4 D1), four in LaLiga, one in LaLiga Hypermotion and one in Copa del Rey, winning each of the last three.

Girona have lost on each of their last four visits to teams from the Madrid region in LaLiga, failing to score in three of them, their longest run of away defeats to such sides in the competition.

Getafe have drawn five of their last six home games in LaLiga (W1), no team has drawn more home games than them in the top two divisions across Europe's top five leagues this season (along with Italian Serie B side Bari).

Girona are coming off a 4-3 win over Leganés in their last LaLiga fixture and are looking to make it two wins in a row in the competition this season for only the second time, after doing so in early September (W2).
