Roma are unbeaten in 18 consecutive games in a single Serie A season (13W, 5D) for the first time since November 2009 and April 2010 (24 in that case, again with Claudio Ranieri on the bench).

Inter have avoided defeat in 14 of their last 15 Serie A matches against Roma (W8 D6), winning seven of their last eight (L1). The Giallorossi's only victory in this run came in October 2022 – a  2-1 win at the Meazza in a comeback with goals scored by Dybala and Smalling.

Inter could win 5+ consecutive matches against Roma in Serie A for the third time in their history, after doing so between 1976 and 1978 (five) and between 1949 and 1953 (seven).

The last 19 matches at San Siro between Inter and Roma in Serie A have seen both sides record six victories each and seven draws. However, Nerazzurri have won three of the last four home games against Giallorossi in the top flight (L1).

After the defeat against Bologna, Inter could lose back-to-back matches in Serie A for the first time in more than two years, last doing so between March and April 2023 (a run of three). That streak also includes the last time the Nerazzurri failed to score in two league matches in a row.

Inter are the team that have both earned the most points (39) and scored the most goals (37) in home games in Serie A this season. However, eight other teams have conceded fewer goals than their 18 in home matches this term.
