Internazionale have won five consecutive home UEFA Champions League matches for the first time since a run of seven between December 2009 and November 2010.

Monaco won 10 points in their first four UEFA Champions League matches this season (W3 D1) but only won three points in their next four (W1 L3).

Since going out of the UEFA Champions League in the group stage in three seasons in a row between 2018-19 and 2020-21, Internazionale have progressed to the knockout stages in each of their last four seasons.

Internazionale have won their two previous home games in European competition against Monaco, winning 1-0 in the 1963-64 European Cup round of 16 and 3-1 in the 1996-97 UEFA Cup semi-finals.

Monaco lost each of their first three games against Internazionale in European competition but did win their most recent meeting with them in April 1997 in the UEFA Cup. 

Internazionale are unbeaten in their last 12 home matches in the UEFA Champions League (W10 D2), their longest unbeaten run on home soil in the European Cup/Champions League since September 1963-September 2002 (no defeats in their first 28 such matches).

Monaco have only won one of their last 10 away matches in the UEFA Champions League (D4 L5), although that lone victory did come in Italy this season, winning 1-0 at Bologna in November.

Internazionale haven’t conceded a goal in any of their last five home matches in the UEFA Champions League. The last team to keep six consecutive home clean sheets in the competition was Atlético de Madrid in September 2016 (6), while the last Italians side to do so was Juventus in September 2005 (6).
