Inter vs Verona

Inter have changed at least 10 players from their starting XI compared to the previous match, in all competitions, for the first time since 15th December 2015 against Cagliari (3-0 home win in Coppa Italia).

Kristjan Asllani has scored a goal in Serie A for the first time since 4th March 2024 (vs Genoa), his first scored in the competition by penalty; the midfielder, has been involved in one goal and two assists in this tournament, equalled his number of participations, between gol and assist, collected in the last top flight (three, one goal and two assists also in that case).

Inter have won in Serie A for the first time since 12th April, also in a home game (3-1 vs Cagliari).

Inter are both the team that have beaten Hellas Verona the most times in Serie A (41), and the team that have scored the most against the Gialloblu in the competition (117 goals).

Hellas Verona have never won away against Inter in Serie A (D11 L22). There are three teams against which the Gialloblu have played at least 30 away games without obtaining a single victory in the competition: Juventus (34), Milan (33) and Inter (33).

Inter have so far gained 71 points, while in the last Serie A season after 34 matchdays they were already at 89 points; this difference of -18 is the second worst among the teams present in both seasons (only Monza have done worse, -29 points).

Inter have lost their last two league games without scoring, suffering as many defeats as in their previous 27 Serie A games (W19 D6); the Nerazzurri have not suffered three defeats in a row in the competition since April 2023, against Spezia, Juventus and Fiorentina.

April and May are the two months in which Simone Inzaghi's teams have historically suffered the most defeats in Serie A (12 in each month); indeed, his loss percentage in May of 36% (12/33) is the second-worst, only behind July (50%, 4/8).
