Nuno Tavares alongside Bukayo Saka has provided the most assists in Big-5 European Leagues this season (seven).
Lazio (W4 D1 in Serie A this season) have been unbeaten in their first five home matches in a Serie A for the first time since 2021/22 (W4 D1).
Genoa have failed to win for seven Serie A matches in a row for the first time since March 2022 (26).
Lazio have won four of their last five Serie A games (D1) against Genoa in Serie A, scoring an average of 2.4 goals per game; on the opposite side, after the 0-1 defeat in their last match, the Grifone could fail to find the net in two games in a row against the Biancocelesti for the first time since 2016 in the competition.
In the last 14 games between Lazio and Genoa in Serie A, only three times have one of the two sides failed to find the net, although two of these matches date back to last season: in both cases, two 1-0 away victories.
After winning their last away Serie A match against Lazio (0-1, on 27th August 2023), Genoa could beat the Biancocelesti at home in at least two games in a row for only the second time in the top-flight, after the series of four consecutive away wins between 2011 and 2015.
Among the sides currently in Serie A, only Juventus are unbeaten in more home games (12) than Lazio in the competition: nine (W7, D2); the Biancocelesti’s last home defeat dates back to 11 March, against Udinese (1-2). On the other side, Genoa have lost three of their last four away games (W1) in Serie A, after having remained unbeaten in nine of their previous 10 (W3 D6).
This is only the third time in the three points for a win era that Genoa have conceded at least 17 goals after their first eight seasonal games in a Serie A campaign, after 2019/20 (20) and 2021/22 (18); furthermore, the Rossoblu could concede at least two goals in five top-flight games in a row for the first time since September 2021 (six in that case).
