Lazio vs Udinese

Udinese have been unbeaten in five consecutive away games against Lazio in Serie A (2W, 3D) for the second time in their history, the first since the period between 1961 and 1990 (five also in that case – 2W, 3D).

Alessio Romagnoli returns to score a goal in Serie A 646 days after the last time, i.e. since the goal scored against Empoli at the Castellani on 3 June 2023; in general, that of the class of '95 is only the second home goal with the Lazio shirt in the league, the first since the one scored against Spezia on 2 October 2022.

Florian Thauvin has scored a goal in two consecutive games for the second time in this league, the first since last December (against Fiorentina and Napoli in that case).

Udinese have won their last two league matches against Lazio (both 2-1), in March and August 2024; the Friulians could win three games in a row against the Biancocelesti in Serie A for the first time since between December 2004 and October 2005.

There have been three wins each and four draws in the last 10 league matches between Lazio and Udinese, after the Biancocelesti had won nine of the 10 previous matches between these two teams in Serie A (D1).

Udinese are unbeaten in their last four away league matches against Lazio (D2 D2), only once have the Friulians gone five away matches in a row without defeat against the Biancocelesti in Serie A, doing so between 1961 and 1990 (W2 D3).

Lazio have won just one of their last six home league games (D3 L2), against Monza in February, after having recorded six wins and a draw in their first seven home games in Serie A this season.

Udinese have won their last three league games without conceding goal, the Friulians could win four consecutive games in Serie A for the first time since between August and October 2022 (6), while the last time they recorded four clean sheets in a row in the competition was between April and May 2012, which was also the last time they recorded four successive wins with a clean sheet in each.
