Lille are the first team to score at least seven goals in a same half of a Ligue 1 game (7 in the second half tonight) since Lyon against Marseille on 24 May 1997 (7 goals before half-time – 8-0 at the end).
Lille have scored at least seven goals in a Ligue 1 game for the second time in the 21st century, after a 8-0 win against Istres on 2 April 2005. This is the first time ever Losc have netted seven away goals in a top-flight encounter.

Lorient have scored at least four goals at home seven times in the league since the start of last season (including on Matchday 2 against Rennes), the joint-highest tally among teams in Top 5 European leagues and their second divisions, alongside Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Norwich.
