Lyon vs Angers

Alexandre Lacazette has scored his 200th and his 201st goals in all competitions in 391 games with Lyon (including 161 in Ligue 1), becoming the second player to reach 200 goals with OL, after Fleury Di Nallo (222 goals between 1960 and 1974).

Lyon end this Ligue 1 season at the sixth place with 57 points, as in the previous campaign (6th with 53 points). OL have not ended in the Top 5 at the end of a L1 season since their fourth place in 2020-21.

Angers have lost 18 of their 34 games in Ligue 1 2024-25 (W10 D6), losing more games in only one top-flight season in the 21st century: 28 in 2022-23 (20th and relegated at the end).

Lyon have won nine of their last ten matches against Angers in Ligue 1 (L1), scoring at least three goals in the last four.

Lyon have won their final game in 15 of the last 24 Ligue 1 seasons in the 21st century (D3 L6), more than any other team. However, OL have ended two of the last four league campaigns with a defeat: both times against Nice (2-3 in 2020-21 and 1-3 in 2022-23).

Lyon face the possibility of finishing outside the top five for a fourth consecutive season in Ligue 1, whereas it had only happened once in their previous 23.

Angers have 36 points in Ligue 1 2024-25, twice as many as last season, when SCO accumulated just 18 points in 38 games.

Lyon lost their last home game in Ligue 1 (1-2 v Lens on 4 May) but have not suffered two defeats in a row at home in the top-flight since August-September 2023 (2).
