Villarreal have won just one of their last seven away games against Mallorca in LaLiga (D2 L4), winning on their last visit in August 2023 (1-0), having been unbeaten in their previous eight visits to the island in the competition (W5 D3).

Mallorca have not lost any of their last four home games in LaLiga (W1 D3), drawing the last three. This is only the second time in top-flight history that they have drawn their first two home games in a season, after 1989/90.

Villarreal have not lost any of their last eight games in LaLiga (W4 D4), with only Real Madrid (G36 W26 D10) have a longer current unbeaten run in the competition (Barcelona also on eight unbeaten - G8 W8).

Mallorca are one of two teams to have scored two headed goals in LaLiga this season, along with Valencia, with the Balearic side having attempted the most headed shots in the competition so far (13, excluding blocked shots).
