Marseille vs Lens

Marseille have lost two of their last three Ligue 1 games (W1), which is as many as in the previous 13 (W9 D2). OM have lost without scoring at home in the top-flight for the fifth time in the last three seasons: three times against Paris SG and two against Lens.

Against Lens, Marseille recorded over 75% possession for the fifth time this season (75.8%), which is as many as in their previous 18 campaigns.

Marseille conceded their latest losing goal in Ligue 1 (93 minutes and 11 seconds) since 8 May 2010 against Lille (Mathieu Debuchy's goal at 94:11). OM had not conceded a goal this late at home in the top-flight since 6 March 2020 (94:45 for Saman Ghoddos with Amiens).

Marseille have won their last two Ligue 1 matches against Lens after losing the previous three. OM have the opportunity to win their two matches in the same season against RCL in the top-flight for the 1st   time since 2014-15.

Marseille are averaging 2+ points per game for the 5th time at this stage in the last 11 Ligue 1 seasons (2.04 - 49 points from 24 games) having only managed it once in 18 seasons before that since returning to the top-flight in 1996-97 (2.1 per game after 24 games in 1998-99).

Lens are on a run of four consecutive losses in Ligue 1, a first since April-May 2015 (5) and a 1st in Will Still's career in the top-flight.

Marseille have won their last three home games in Ligue 1, as many as in their first nine this season (D4 L2). This is OM's best run since December 2023 (also 3), the Phocéens having not enjoyed a longer such run since May-September 2022 (5).

Lens have lost their last two away games in Ligue 1 (0-2 at Nice, 1-3 at Nantes) after losing just one of their first 10 this season (W5, D4).
