Mika Biereth scored seven goals in his first five games with Monaco in Ligue 1, the highest tally in the club's L1 history, overtaking Eric Pecout (6 in July-August 1981). The Dane became the first Ligue 1 player of any club to score two hat-tricks in his first five games over the last 70 years.

Monaco have won three home games in a row for the first time this season in Ligue 1. ASM have eight wins from 12 home games this season (D2 L2), with only Paris doing better (9).

Monaco have scored and conceded at least two goals in each of their last three home games in Ligue 1 (9 scored, 8 conceded) and could become the first team to string together four such games at home in the top-flight since Nancy in 1982-1983 (4).
