Auxerre have lost four of their last six Ligue 1 matches (W1 D1), as many as in their previous 13 (W5 D4).
Auxerre have lost two of their first three Ligue 1 matches (W1) for the fifth time in their last eight seasons in the top-flight, whereas this had only happened once in AJA's first six seasons in L1 in the 21st century (W1 D2 in 2003-04).
Nantes have won two of their last three Ligue 1 home games (L1), as many as in the previous nine (D4 L3).
Nantes have lost only one of their 10 home games against Auxerre in Ligue 1 in the 21st century (W5 D4), 1-4 on 28 September 2002. They have won their last three games against Auxerre at La Beaujoire in the top-flight, the two most recent without conceding a single goal.
Beaten by Paris SG (0-1) and Strasbourg (0-1), Nantes have not started a Ligue 1 season with three defeats since the 2013-14 campaign (3 - 13th at the end of the season). They have also not lost three consecutive games without scoring in the top-flight since August-September 2021 (3).
Auxerre have scored in each of their last 12 Ligue 1 games, their longest such streak since December 2006-April 2007 (14).
Nantes have failed to score in five of their 11 home Ligue 1 games in 2025. This year, no other stadium has seen fewer goals scored in the top flight than Nantes' home ground among those in the top-flight level over the entire period (21 at La Beaujoire – 11 for Nantes, 10 for visitors).
Auxerre have scored in each of their last nine Ligue 1 away games (15 goals) and could record ten such matches with at least one goal for the first time in their history in the division.
