Inter have lost just one of their last five away games against Napoli in Serie A (W2 D2); after the success in the last match at Maradona (3-0, 03/12/2023), the Nerazzurri could beat the Neapolitans at home in back-to-back top-flight matches for the first time since 1997.

Napoli have failed to win their last four league matches (D3 L1) and an Antonio Conte team has never gone five consecutive matches without winning in Serie A; the Neapolitans, after their defeat against Como, could lose two games in a row for the first time since December 2023, when one of those defeats came at home to Inter (0-3).

Inter will start the matchday as the league leaders for the second time this season, after also doing so in mid-September (1-1 at Monza); after the success last time out (1-0 against Genoa), the Nerazzurri could win back-to-back leauge games for the second time in Serie A in 2025, also doing so in January (3-1 at home to Empoli and 4-0 at Lecce).
