Furthermore, only against Atalanta (a run of 23 between 1956 and 1996) and Udinese (21 between 1952 and 1996) have the Azzurri played at least 20 consecutive home games without ever losing in the top flight.

Napoli are the team to have recorded the most clean sheets this season in the top five European Leagues: 11. The Neapolitans last recorded so many clean sheets after 19 Serie A matches of the season in 1986/87. The Campania team could also keep a clean sheet in 12 of their first 20 matches in a single top-flight season for the first time since 1981/82.

Napoli have alternated between defeat and victory in their last four home league games: the Azzurri last recorded two consecutive wins in front of their home fans in Serie A in the first five home games of this season.
