Allianz Riviera - Nice
Nice have won six of their last eight Ligue 1 home games against Montpellier (L2). However, OGCN have lost two of the last three L1 home games against MHSC, including the one last season (1-2 in March 2024).
This will be Nice's 1200th home match in Ligue 1 (W643 D298 L258), the seventh team to reach this tally after Marseille, St Etienne, Bordeaux, Monaco, Lyon and Rennes - only SRFC had fewer wins (600) and more losses (286) than OGCN after 1199 home games in the top-flight.
Nice have scored in each of their last 16 Ligue 1 games (30 goals) and could record their longest such run in a single season since August-December 1959 (22).
Two teams in Ligue 1 2024-25 have conceded at least 50 goals this season (50 for St Etienne, 52 for Montpellier), while only one had reached this tally after 22 games in an top-flight season over the previous 45 years (53 for Bordeaux in 2021-22). We had to go back to 1969-70 to see two teams reach this mark at this stage : Rennes (55) and Lyon (50).
Nice are one of the two teams unbeaten at home in Ligue 1 this season (W7 D3), alongside Paris SG. OGCN could avoid defeat in their first home 11 games of a top-flight campaign for the third time in the last 35 years, after 2007-08 and 2016-17.
