West Ham boss Graham Potter equaled his biggest margin of victory in a Premier League away match, with all four instances being 3-0 victories (three in charge of Brighton, one with current side West Ham).

West Ham’s win was the second latest into a match that a team have gone 1-0 up in a Premier League game and ended up winning by 3+ goals (84th minute), after Manchester United v Everton in October 2002 (86th minute).

Nottingham Forest have won their last three Premier League matches against West Ham, having only won two of their first 11 against them in the competition (D3 L6).

West Ham United haven’t scored in any of their last four Premier League visits to the City Ground (D1 L3) – the last Hammers player to score there was Michael Hughes in September 1996.

Among current Premier League sides, only Fulham (11) are on a longer run without a clean sheet than Nottingham Forest (10). It’s Forest’s longest run without one since going 14 without one between February and August 2024.

West Ham have lost their opening two Premier League matches this season, shipping eight goals, their worst start to a league season since 1954-55 (lost first two, conceded 10).
