Olympiakos have won just one of their seven major European meetings with Norwegian clubs (D2 L4), with that one win coming at home to Molde in September 1999 in the UEFA Champions League.

Norwegian clubs have lost each of their last four away European matches in Greece (inc. qualifiers), with Vålerenga the last club from Norway to win there in a UEFA Europa League qualifier in August 2009 at PAOK Salonika.

Olympiakos are unbeaten in their last six home matches in major European competitions (W4 D2), their best run since going seven unbeaten between November 2013 and February 2015.

Bodø/Glimt won the first leg 3-0; there’s been 59 previous instances in UEFA Europa League history (2009-10 onwards) of a side winning the first leg of a knockout tie by 3+ goals and 58 have gone through; the other was Basel in the 2013-14 quarter-final against Valencia (3-0 first leg, 0-5 second leg).

Olympiakos striker Ayoub El Kaabi has scored 12 goals in 11 major European appearances at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, the most by any Olympiakos player in their European football history.
