Paris FC vs Auxerre

Paris Saint-Germain have won five of their first six Ligue 1 matches this season (L1) – this is the seventh time the Parisian club have achieved at least this tally at this stage in the last nine campaigns (along with 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2024/25), more than twice as many as all other teams combined (3 – 2x for Monaco, 1 for Marseille – pending Lyon's match tomorrow).

Auxerre have earned six points (W2 L4) with a goal difference of -4 after six Ligue 1 2025/26 matches, the same such records as last season at the same stage (11th at the end of the campaign).

Paris SG have scored in each of their last 36 home matches in Ligue 1 (92 goals scored), the longest such run in their history. Only Lille currently have a longer streak in the European top five leagues (44).

Paris SG are the team Auxerre has played and lost against most often in Ligue 1 (68 matches, including 29 defeats – tied with Bordeaux). AJA have lost 10 of their 14 away matches against PSG in the top-flight in the 21st century (W3 D1).

Despite having the same number of points and goal difference as Monaco, Paris SG is currently second in Ligue 1 2025/26. This is only the fourth time in the last 11 seasons that PSG are not in the lead after five matches played, after 2016/17 (3rd – 2nd at the end of the season), 2020/21 (7th – 2nd) and 2023/24 (5th – champions).

Auxerre have recorded two wins after five Ligue 1 2025/26 matches (D3) and could win three of their first six matches of a L1 campaign for the first time since 2004/05 (4).

Paris SG have scored in each of their last 35 Ligue 1 home games (90 in total) and could set their longest such run in the top-flight (also 35 in January 2013-December 2014).

Since the start of last season, Auxerre have lost four away matches in Ligue 1 after scoring the first goal of the game – including one against Paris SG last May –, more than any other team.
