Following their win in February 2025 in their last league encounter (3-0), Real Betis have the chance to win consecutive matches against Real Sociedad in LaLiga for the first time since a run of three between 2003 and 2004.
Real Sociedad have won seven of their 16 away matches against Real Betis in LaLiga since the start of the 2004/05 season (D2 L7), achieving more away wins than against any other opponent in the competition in that period.
Under Manuel Pellegrini, Real Betis have kept a clean sheet in six of their 10 LaLiga matches against Real Sociedad (W3 D4 L3). They haven’t kept more clean sheets against any other team in the competition since 2020/21 (also six v Alavés – P9 W5 D3 L1).
Real Betis have won only one of their last nine LaLiga matches (D6 L2) but are the team with the most draws in the competition since May (6), at least two more than any other side (Celta Vigo, four).
Real Sociedad have not won any of their first four matches of a LaLiga season (D2 L2) for the first time since 2015/16 under David Moyes (D2 L2). The last season in which they started without a win after their first five games in the competition was in 2006/07 under José Mari Bakero (D1 L4), the Basque side's last relegation.
