Saint Etienne vs LE Havre

Le Havre won only their second away game in Ligue 1 since their return to the top-flight in 2023-24 after the one against Toulouse on November 5. They picked up as many points tonight (3) as in their previous seven away games (D3 L4).

Excluding the play-offs, St Etienne have lost their last three league matches (Ligue 1 + Ligue 2), recording a longer run only once since their descent in the summer of 2022: five, last November-December.

This will be the first time Le Havre have faced a team promoted to Ligue 1 without being promoted themselves since February 2000 (2-0 win v Troyes). HAC have failed to score in five of their last six matches against sides promoted to the top-flight, including the two last season (0-0 and 0-1 v Metz).

Le Havre have only recorded a clean sheet once in their last 22 Ligue 1 games (36 goals conceded in total), and that was against Toulouse in March (1-0).

Excluding the play-offs, St Etienne are on a seven-match unbeaten run at home in the league (W6 D1 in Ligue 2) after losing four of their previous six home matches (W1 D1).
