SC Braga vs Feyenoord

Sporting Braga and Feyenoord have never previously faced – Braga’s last European meeting with a Dutch side was in 2015-16 in the UEFA Europa League group stage, winning 1-0 at home and drawing 0-0 away at FC Groningen.

Feyenoord have won two of their last three (L1) major European meetings with Portuguese opponents, as many as they’d won in their first 10 against them (D3 L5).

This is Sporting Braga’s 12th campaign in the UEFA Europa League (2009-10 onwards), with only Ajax featuring in more (13). Braga have shipped the most goals in the competition (118) and only Qarabag (34) and SK Rapid (31) have suffered more defeats than they have (30).

In 19 UEFA Europa League away matches, Feyenoord have won just once (D7 L11), a 3-0 win at Standard Liège back in December 2014. They are winless in 16 since then (D7 L9).

João Moutinho has created 99 chances in the UEFA Europa League (2009-10 onwards) and the 38-year-old Braga midfielder is looking to become the seventh player with 100+ chances created in the competition.
