Sevilla vs Girona

After losing their first three games against Sevilla in LaLiga, Girona have won their following five; their best run of consecutive victories against any side they have faced in the competition.

Girona have beaten Sevilla on their last two visits to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in LaLiga, and they could be the first opponent against whom Girona have achieved three straight away wins in the Primera División.

Sevilla are winless in their first three LaLiga games this season (D2 L1); the last time they were winless after their first four games was in the 2022/23 season with Julen Lopetegui on the bench (D1 L3).

Sevilla have suffered defeats in their last three LaLiga home games, while not since the 2001/02 campaign have they lost four consecutive home games in the competition.

Girona are coming off the back of a 4-0 win over Osasuna in LaLiga. In 2024, they have already achieved more wins by four goals or more in the competition (three) than in all the other years they have been in the top-flight (2) – also 7-0 in May against Granada and 5-1 in January against Sevilla.
