Slavia Prague have won both of their previous meetings with Malmö, winning 2-1 away and 3-1 at home in the first round of the 1996-97 UEFA Cup.

Malmö have lost five of their six meetings with Czech opponents in all competitions (W1), already losing two such games this season against Sparta Prague in UEFA Champions League qualifying.

Slavia Prague have lost three of their last four home UEFA Europa League matches (D1), as many as they’d lost on home soil in their previous 18 in major European competition (W11 D4).

Malmö have lost 21 of their last 26 away matches in major European competition (W3 D2), including suffering defeat in nine of their last 10 on the road.

Only Galatasaray (144) and Manchester United (129) have had more shots in the UEFA Europa League this season than Slavia Prague (124). Despite this, the Czech side have scored just five goals, with their shot conversion rate of 4.0% the lowest of any side in the 2024-25 competition.
