Having lost just two of their first 11 Premier League meetings with Bournemouth (W5 D4), Southampton have now lost both of their last two against the Cherries.

Following their 3-1 win at the Vitality Stadium in September, Bournemouth are looking to complete the league double over Southampton for the first time, in what is the 15th different campaign in which they’ve met.

After beating Ipswich Town 2-1 last time out, Southampton are looking to win successive Premier League games for the first time since February 2022. However, they have lost each of their last six home league games, conceding 22 goals in that time.

Bournemouth are enjoying their longest ever unbeaten run on the road in the Premier League, with Andoni Iraola’s side unbeaten in their previous six matches (W4 D2).

Bournemouth have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games against sides starting the day in the bottom three (W9 D2), winning all three games this season.
