Swansea vs Portsmouth

This is the first league meeting between Swansea and Portsmouth since a goalless draw back in April 2011 in the Championship.

Portsmouth are unbeaten in their last 11 league games against Swansea City (W4 D7) since a 4-0 defeat on Boxing Day in 1960.

Swansea City have lost two of their last three home league games and could lose back-to-back matches on home turf for the first time since losing each Luke Williams’ first four such games in charge in February this year.

Portsmouth have won eight of their last 13 EFL games in Wales (D1 L4), though did lose at Cardiff 0-2 last month.

Swansea City have lost their last two home league games against newly promoted teams – the Swans have never lost three in a row in the Football League.
