Torino vs Lecce

Torino went undefeated in their first four matches played in this Serie A (2V, 2N) and in the three-point-per-win era had managed it on three other occasions (2007/08, 2015/16 and 2017/18).

Torino and Lecce drew 0-0 for the third time in Serie A; this has not happened since 12 February 1989 (also at home to the granata).

Torino have not conceded a goal in their last two Serie A matches; as many clean sheets as in their previous eight matches in the competition.

Torino have won each of their last four Serie A games against Lecce without conceding a goal, after having won just one of their previous eight matches against them (D3 L4). The Granata have only managed to record more consecutive wins against a single opponent whilst keeping a clean sheet once in their history in the competition – against Brescia (six, between 1967 and 1970).

Lecce have won only two of their 10 away games against Torino in Serie A (D2 L6), both by a scoreline of 2-1 (in January 2000 and September 2019), on two of the last four occasions in which they have played away to the Granata during the first half of the season of the top-flight.

Torino have scored in 16 of their last 17 games against Lecce in the top-flight (26 goals in the process, an average of 1.5 per game) – the only exception being a 0-4 defeat by the Giallorossi in February 2020, with goals from Alessandro Deiola, Antonin Barak, Filippo Falco and Gianluca Lapadula.

Lecce have avoided defeat in four of their six Serie A away games under Luca Gotti (W2 D2) – however, the Giallorossi’s last away win against an opponent starting the matchday in the top five of the table dates to back February 2023 – a 2-1 victory against Atalanta, with Marco Baroni in charge that day.

Torino have obtained at least seven points in their first three games of a Serie A season for the fourth time (in the three points for a win era), after previously doing so in 2015/16, 2017/18 and 2022/23 – however, out of those campaigns only in 2015/16 did they managed to win the fourth fixture of the season (2-0 against Sampdoria).
