AZ have lost each of their last seven away games in major European competition, only Ajax between April 2003 and February 2005 (8 games) have endured a longer such run among Dutch sides.

Tottenham have won each of their last four home games, it’s their joint-longest run under Ange Postecoglou, previously doing so in October 2023 and January 2024.

Tottenham Hotspur have alternated between a win and a loss across their last five meetings with Dutch opposition in European competition, most recently beating Vitesse 3-2 at home in November 2021 in the UEFA Conference League.

AZ have lost all eight of their previous away games against English sides in all competitions, conceding 2+ goals in each defeat. That includes 1-2 defeats to West Ham United in 2022-23 and Aston Villa in 2023-24 in the UEFA Conference League. 

Tottenham have won all six of their UEFA Europa League games at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium by an aggregate score of 18-0.

AZ have lost five of their last six away games in the UEFA Europa League, with the exception being a 1-0 win over Napoli in October 2020.
