Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Having defeated Arsenal in May (2-1), Bournemouth have won consecutive Premier League games in London for first time since August 2018.

Tottenham had just five shots against Bournemouth (1 on target), the joint-fewest attempts and lowest expected goals against (0.17) the Cherries have ever faced in a Premier League away game.

Eight of Evanilson’s 11 Premier League goals for Bournemouth have come away from home (73%), including seven of his last eight – with all seven being scored in London.

Having won their first five Premier League home games against Bournemouth (keeping a clean sheet in each of the first four), Tottenham have won just one of their last three against the Cherries (D1 L1), shipping six goals in the process.

Bournemouth have earned more points in their six games against Spurs since returning to the Premier League in 2022 (7 – W2 D1 L3) than they did in 10 games in their first stint between 2015 and 2020 (5 – W1 D2 L7).

Tottenham Hotspur have won their opening two Premier League matches this season – Spurs are looking to win their opening three games for the fourth time in the competition (2009-10, 2018-19 and 2021-22 previously), with the latter of those the only time they’ve won their first three league games in a season and also kept a clean sheet each time.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last six away Premier League matches in London (W1 D5), having lost 17 of their previous 23 games in the capital (W3 D3). The Cherries are looking for consecutive top-flight away wins in London for the first time since 2018, when they beat Chelsea in January and West Ham in August.

Tottenham have kept consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League this season so far, having only kept two clean sheets in their last 22 games of last season, shipping 2.1 goals on average in those 22. They haven’t kept three in a row since May 2022.
