Union Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt

1. FC Union Berlin have won just three of their 11 competitive games against Eintracht Frankfurt since their promotion to the Bundesliga in 2019 (D2, L6), failing to score in each of their last three meetings. Since the start of 2019/20, Union have only drawn a blank more often against Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig (5 times each) than they have against the Eagles (4 times).

14 points from seven matches represents Union Berlin's second best start to a Bundesliga season (17 points in 2022/23). They have conceded just four goals so far, equalling the club record at this stage of a top-flight campaign (also in 2022/23).

Eintracht Frankfurt currently have 13 points and have scored 15 goals,  representing their best start to a Bundesliga campaign in 12 years – they had 16 points and 16 goals at this stage of 2012/13.

Union Berlin have won each of their first three Bundesliga home games this season (only otherwise achieved in 2022/23) and could now open a top-flight campaign with four straight home wins for the first time. Borussia Dortmund (W4) are the only other side to have also won all of their Bundesliga home games so far in 2024/25.

Union Berlin have the second best defence in the Bundesliga this season (4 goals conceded) – only RB Leipzig have let in fewer goals (2). The Berliners now come up against Frankfurt, who have the joint third best attack in the division (15 goals scored) – only Bayern (24 times) and Leverkusen (18) have found the back of the net more often.
