Verona vs Lazio

After the win in the reverse match on 16th September, Lazio could win both of their Serie A games against Hellas Verona in a single season for the first time since 2017/18.

Lazio haven’t lost in 16 of their last 18 Serie A games against Hellas Verona (W10 D6), including the six most recent (W3 D3); the last Scaligeri win against the Biancolesti was back on 24th October 2021 (4-1 at Bentegodi stadium under Igor Tudor).

Hellas Verona are unbeaten in their last three home Serie A games against Lazio (W1 D2), drawing the two most recent; only once have the two teams drawn three consecutive matches at the Bentegodi stadium in the top-flight: between 1975 and 1978.

Hellas Verona haven’t scored in four of their last six home league games, including the two most recent against AC Milan and Udinese; the last time they failed to score in three consecutive games at the Bentegodi stadium in Serie A was between March and April 2021 (the third match in that case was against Lazio).

Lazio have recorded three games in a row without a win for the first time in the current league season (D2 L1), the Biancocelesti could have a longer streak without any win in Serie A for the first time since July 2020 (five matches in that case).
