VfB Stuttgart haven’t lost any of their last three Bundesliga games against Eintracht Frankfurt (W2, D1). They last enjoyed a longer unbeaten run against them between 2011 and 2013 (4 games). VfB have scored more top-flight goals against SGE than versus any other side (186), while they also haven’t beaten any other team more often (44 times, same as vs. Gladbach).
With 17 points from nine games, this is Eintracht Frankfurt’s second best Bundesliga season since three points for a win was introduced (19 points in 2012/13). The Eagles have lost just one of their last eight Bundesliga games (W5, D2): 2-1 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen in mid-October.
VfB Stuttgart have lost just one of their 25 Bundesliga home games under Sebastian Hoeneß (3-2 against Hoffenheim in October 2023, since then W11, D5) and have scored in every match at home since he took over. No other top-flight side is currently on as long an unbeaten run at home (16 games) or as long a goalscoring run on home turf (25 games) as the Swabians.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s 7-2 win over VfL Bochum saw them scored seven goals in a Bundesliga game for the first time since October 2018 (7-1 vs. Düsseldorf). The Eagles boast the second best attack in the division this season with 23 goals (FCB: 32), their highest tally after nine matchdays in 31 years (26 goals in 1993/94).
Only FC Bayern (36) have had more big chances than Eintracht Frankfurt (32) and VfB Stuttgart (31) in the Bundesliga this season. Additionally, only Mainz 05 (60%) have converted a higher percentage of their big chances than SGE (50%), whereas VfB have missed the most big chances in the league (20).
