West Ham have won consecutive Premier League home games for the first time in 2024 (4-1 v Ipswich, 2-1 v Man Utd), with December 2023 the previous time they had done so.
This is Manchester United’s second-lowest points tally after nine games of a Premier League season (11), with 2019-20 (10) being the only campaign in which they’ve had fewer points at this stage.
West Ham’s opener was the first goal Manchester United had conceded away from home in the Premier League since August (v Brighton), ending a run of 343 minutes without conceding on the road in the competition.
