Worthing vs Morecambe

Worthing are playing in the FA Cup proper for the sixth time, and for the first time ever in consecutive campaigns. Only once have they gone past the first round, doing so in 1982-83.

Morecambe have won their last three FA Cup matches against non-league opponents, most recently a 1-0 second round win at Buxton in 2021-22.

Worthing have lost all three of their FA Cup games against Football League sides by an aggregate score of 10-1 (0-4 v Oxford in 1982, 1-3 v Bournemouth in 1994 and 0-3 v Rotherham in 1999).

Morecambe have reached the second round of the FA Cup in three of the last four seasons, as many times as they had in their first 13 campaigns as a Football League side.
