Girona x Osasuna

Girona have lost just one of their four LaLiga matches against Osasuna (W2 D1), winning the last two and scoring in all of them, with an average of two goals per game (eight overall).

Osasuna have won on just one of their last six trips to Girona in all competitions (D2 L3), on the second leg of the promotion play-off final to Primera División in 2016. Kenan Kodro's 1-0 win was enough to earn promotion for Osasuna, who won the first leg in Pamplona 2-1.

Girona achieved their record number of home wins in a single season last term (15), just six less than in their previous three seasons combined in the top-flight (21). Even so, they have never lost in their first home game of a league campaign (G4 W2 D2).

Osasuna have won the first away game of a season in LaLiga in four of the last five seasons (L1), all of them under Jagoba Arrasate, who is no longer at the club; it is the same number of wins in their first away game as in their previous 37 seasons in the top-flight (D11 L22).

Osasuna have not won in their last eight LaLiga trips to Catalonia (D3 L5), failing to score in five of those games. Should they fail to win at Montilivi, they will be on their worst winless streak in this region in the last six decades.
